Downtown Ford and Lincoln is a new and used car and truck dealership offering the latest Ford and Lincoln product lines and an automotive service center that is available to all makes and models. The dealership, founded by Donald W. Schneider in 1985, is owned and operated by Brad Black and Mr. Schneider.

Known for our depth of our services, we offer our customers a low cost quick lube center, a comfortable customer waiting room, a children’s playroom, shuttle service, extended hours, a tire center offering all major brands, a parts department, and full-service body shop. Consistent sales enable the dealership to secure limited edition models and the latest models available on the market. A full-time customer relations manager contacts every customer within 48 hours of making a vehicle purchase or receiving service or repair to ensure customer satisfaction.

Throughout the years, the dealership has achieved several notable milestones including the following:

• Expanded the dealership in 1997. This $3 million expansion doubled the service area by 30,000 square feet and modernized the entire facility resulting in a new spacious showroom, a state-of- the-art service and body shop areas, and a convenient tire & lube center.

• Received the 1998 Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce Scope Award presented annually to businesses that demonstrate significant growth in number of employees and business, expansion of operations/efficiencies, outstanding customer service, investment in capital improvements, innovation/expansion of product line(s), responsiveness to business and industry challenges and adversity and commitment to community involvement.

• Received Ford’s Blue Oval Certification every year since 2000. This accreditation is for dealerships that meet specific criteria linked to customer satisfaction. The requirements for certification include Internet availability, personal satisfaction, cleanliness, and consistency in operations and processes throughout the dealership. To become Blue Oval Certified, each dealer and its employees must demonstrate their commitment to maintaining the high standard of customer service that today’s consumers expect. Holding a Blue Oval standing requires yearly recertification.

• Constructed the Used Car Factory at Downtown Ford in August 2004, which opened in January 2005. The facility is located west of the dealership (formerly home of the Canton City Schools bus garage). The store doubled the size of Downtown Ford Lincoln's used vehicle inventory and allowed for more office space, a cleaning bay area, and an on site special finance department.

• Acquired Ganley Lincoln-Mercury in 2006 and changed our name to Downtown Ford Lincoln Mercury. In addition to being Ford authorized, the dealership is now an authorized Lincoln Mercury sales and service center.

• Received the Ford Motor Company President’s Award in 2006, 2007, and in 2009. Each year, Ford Motor Company recognizes dealers with its most prestigious award.  These dealers have shown excellence customer service and sales.  Criteria for President’s Award recipients includes Blue Oval or Lincoln Elite Certification, an 85% or higher regional or multiple point average for both car and truck market shares, and a minimum of 75 completed Customer Viewpoint Surveys.

• Received special recognition for its creative business endeavors during tough times in Stark County from the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Award Committee. The criterion for the "Committee's Choice Business Excellence Award included employment growth, operations expansions, capital investments, customer service, innovation, community service and responsiveness to challenge.
